What types of projects does APS work best for?
Residential and multifamily wood-framed structures. We're a great fit for single-family homes, townhomes, apartment buildings, and senior living — anywhere repetitive walls and tight timelines make precision pay off.
How do I send you my plans?
Email your plan set to info@aps-cut.com or use the contact form. PDFs work great — we'll review and follow up with questions before we quote.
How long does the design and cutting process take?
Lead times depend on package size and current production schedule. Typical turnaround from approved design to delivery is a few weeks. We'll give you a firm timeline with your quote.

What's the difference between precut lumber and wall panels?
Precut lumber comes as individual studs, plates, and headers cut to length with layout printed on the plates. Wall panels go a step further — we assemble the walls in our facility and ship them ready to stand. See the precut lumber and wall panels pages for details.
Can I combine wall panels with precut lumber?
Absolutely. Many projects use panels for the repetitive exterior and demising walls, plus a precut lumber package for the rest. We'll design the package to fit how your crew works.
What is total station layout service?
A laser-based layout service that marks every wall, opening, and corner directly on the deck to surveying-grade accuracy. Your framing crew can start standing walls immediately — no measuring tapes, no chalk lines, no rework. Learn more.
Wall Panels
What wall sizes can you build?
We build interior and exterior walls up to standard residential and multifamily heights. Wall length is typically split into trailer-friendly sections that the crew sets and ties together on site. We'll spec the exact breakdown with your quote.
Are the panels sheathed?
We offer both options. Some builders prefer sheathed panels for fastest dry-in; others prefer unsheathed panels for easier rough-in. We'll talk through what makes sense for your build.
How are panels delivered?
Flat-stacked on trailers in the exact order your crew will set them. Each panel is labeled by floor and wall location, so the layout man's job is mostly done before the truck arrives.

Do you deliver to my jobsite?
Yes — we deliver across the Upper Midwest: Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska. Packages are organized by floor and wall location for fast site placement.
Do you deliver outside the Upper Midwest?
Our standard service area is the Upper Midwest. Reach out about projects outside that footprint and we'll see what we can do.
